UEFA have rejected Arsenal's appeal against the two-match suspension imposed on manager Arsene Wenger, which will begin in the Champions League group stage.

Wenger has been further punished for going against the ban he was hit with after his team's Champions League exit to Barcelona in March. The Frenchman has been found guilty of communicating with his assistants during the play-off first leg with Udinese, which is banned under UEFA regulations.
Though Arsenal have claimed that Wenger did so after gaining clearance from the governing body's officials, he has now been banned once more, after getting a stay of execution for the second leg victory in Udine.
Wenger will now be suspended from carrying out his duties at Arsenal's next two UEFA competition matches - the UEFA Champions League group stage games against Borussia Dortmund and Olympiacos FC on 13 and 28 September, and confined to the stands with no communication.
UEFA's Control and Disciplinary Body also fined Arsenal €10,000 for improper conduct by their officials.
