AC Milan striker Filippo Inzaghi has been omitted from the club's 25-man squad for the Champions League.
The 38-year-old made way for Antonio Nocerino, who was signed on deadline day from Palermo.
Inzaghi, who has been at Milan for a decade now, is currently second to Raul in the scoring charts in all European competitions with 70 goals, 46 of those in the Champions League.
Last season, he made only three appearances in the prestigious competition, but scored two goals in the 2-2 draw against Real Madrid.
The Italian faces fierce competition from Alexandre Pato, Robinho, Antonio Cassano and Zlatan Ibrahimovic for a place in Milan's attack.
The Serie A champions have been drawn alongside Barcelona, BATE Borisov and Viktoria Plzen in the Champions League.
